A frente = in front of, em frente = opposite? Or can I use both for either meaning?
How do we know when to use his/hers dele/ dela or o seu/a sua?
We use dele-his and dela-hers so that there is no confusion. You can use it all the time if you like.
A mala dela – her bag
O carro dela – her car
O seu / a sua – can mean his or hers – But it also means yours. Better to use this one just for yours.
A sua mala – your bag
O seu carro – your car
I hope that helps 🙂
