These compact six week courses are short and to the point, providing the key ingredients that you will need, to build up your confidence and your language skills. Using dialogues, we introduce the grammar as we go, making for a smoother ‘no stress’ learning process.
The step-by-step short audio clips are easy to follow, designed to help you with your pronunciation and oral comprehension as you go through the course.
At the end of each lesson there is a mini quiz – to keep you on your toes and to help you remember some key points.
In order to get the best out of these courses it is recommended that they be done as stated in each course, and preferably within 6 weeks. It is also advisable to have a notebook and pen handy as you would benefit greatly from taking notes, especially for some of the quizzes.

Week Zero – will give you the very basics and give you a chance to see how the courses work, without investing too much.
PSW Conversational – will give you skills to be able to converse in every day situations, café, supermarket etc.
Speak Like a Native Speaker – is for the serious learner and will provide you with a strong foundation to build upon.
The fact that the classes are all online means that you can learn Portuguese in the comfort of your own home, at the beach, even on your lunch break! You can do them at a time that suits!
But, you need to be consistent!
The Speak like a Native Course and the PSW Conversational course is suitable for beginners and intermediate alike and is an ideal ‘starter pack’ if you are studying to take the CIPLE exame or are looking for basic conversation skills.

Amanda is a UK native who taught herself Portuguese when she moved to Portugal in the 90’s. Later on she started teaching Portuguese to other expats, and over the course of 15 years she has taught hundreds of people how to speak, write, and understand Portuguese.
This 6 week course is an amalgamation of all the experience she has accumulated over the years.
Everything you will learn here has a high impact on your learning. Instead of hammering rules and details into the students, Amanda takes a more brain-friendly approach that is highly effective.
